Welcome to the charming town of Wesley, founded in 1872 and located in the heart of the Midwest, with a population of 391 and steeped in rich history.

One of Wesley's defining features is its connection to the railroad. The first buildings constructed in the city were the Depot and section house, and the train played a pivotal role in the city's development, enabling the transport of goods and people in and out of the area. In those early days, wild hay was a primary crop and was plentiful in the surrounding fields, which were bailed and shipped out on the train.

Our town offers something for everyone. Outdoor enthusiasts will love our swimming pool with a high dive, perfect for seasoned swimmers and those looking to cool off on a hot summer day. Book lovers can enjoy a wide selection of books for all ages at our charming library. Our Community Center hosts numerous events throughout the year. Dining options abound at our local Johnny’s Bar & Grill, offering an array of comfort food to tantalize your taste buds. Additionally, our beautiful park with camping sites and Hillside Golf and Dining will satisfy golf enthusiasts of all levels.

Finally, our community events are truly special, from the annual Fourth of July parade to our festive holiday celebrations. We hope that your visit to our town is filled with wonderful experiences and memories that you will cherish for years to come. Thank you for choosing to visit us, and we look forward to welcoming you.
