Iowa's Rose Capital since 1958, State Center hosts a three-day Rose Festival in June and a farmers market with entertainment on summer Thursday nights. Visit historical attractions such as an 1869 township school, barber shop museum, Watson's Grocery Store Museum and three-block National Historic District.
