Stately Victorian home was built in 1850 by the first Anglo European settler in West Des Moines, James C. Jordan. Was once part of the Underground Railroad. As of 9/2020:
- Self guided tours are available every Sunday, barring holiday or weather conditions.
- Much purchase tickets prior to tour.
- Tours are 11 a.m. - 12:15 p.m. and 1 p.m. - 2:15 p.m.
- Private and group tours can be scheduled Monday-Saturday.
