Silver Sioux Recreation Area is a 160-acre recreational park with many modern and primitive campsites. It also hosts a historic pole barn, lodge (sleeps 16), playground, and modern restrooms. Silver Sioux is a popular spot for many nature enthusiasts from hunters to bird watchers to campers! *34 campsites with modern restrooms/showers on site (9 reservable) *Reservable pole barn popular for weddings and family reunions *Overnight Reservable lodge with wood burning stove, cement patio with fire ring/stand up grill, and modern amenities/bedrooms *Over 3 miles of foot trails with 2 swinging bridges through prairie and oak savannah ecosystems, a scenic outlook, and bird blind *River access for the Little Sioux River, which hosts the Inkpaduta River Trail *Fishing/Hunting **Hunting allowed October 1-April 30 **Camping season is May 1-October 31 (Weather pending) **No ATVs, UTV's, etc. allowed in the park**
