Art Church

This 1873 structure was originally a Presbyterian Church. Today it is the painting studio of Zack Jones. The downstairs Art Church studio is available on Airbnb for overnight guests. The upstairs sanctuary includes a 27-foot-high sky scene mural that grows from year to year. The Art Church is a great example of re-purposing a historic structure in rural Iowa. It's located just 1 block from Main Street, Classic Cafe, and 2 blocks from the Wabash Trace Nature Trail. Check out the Saturday Malvern Concert Series June-August 6-9p.m. Annual Art Church shows include the Southwest Iowa Art Tour in September and a Holiday Show Dec4 & 11, 2021. Group tours are available by appointment and include a fee.
