Drink In the Quad Cities

When the kids are away, the adults will play! Sample some fantastic beers and spirits and enjoy time with your friends. It's all about enjoying live music, shopping and golf - and having fun on the Mighty Mississippi River!

 

Shopping
Spend the daylight hours shopping at NorthPark Mall, the Village of East Davenport or in downtown Le Claire. You'll find everything from locally-owned gift shops and cafes to antiques to major retailers.

 

Golfing

Mississippi River Distilling Company
This unique micro-distillery in Le Claire produces small-batch premium vodka, gin and whiskey made from locally-sourced grains. From the milling of the grain to the fermentation, distilling, aging and bottling, everything is done on-site. Free tours wtih complimentary samples are offered seven days a week, every hour on the hour from 12 to 4 p.m.

 

Hotel Blackhawk
Spend the night at the posh and historic Hotel Blackhawk. You'll delight in the luxurious accommodations. Have dinner at the Bix Bistro in the hotel before heading out for Quad Cities nightlife.

 

Quad Cities River Bandits
After dinner, fill your evening with live sports entertainment. If you're a baseball fan, enjoy a River Bandits game at Modern Woodmen Park. This beautiful riverfront stadium is home to the Midwest League Class A River Bandits, a farm team of the St. Louis Cardinals.

 

Riverboat Cruise
Enjoy a day of leisure and schedule a riverboat cruise aboard the Celebration Belle or the Channel Cat Water Taxi (check websites for seasons of operation and boarding times). Both cruises provide an up-close view of the Mighty Mississippi River. You can also rent a bike from the Quad Cities Convention & Visitors Bureau and explore riverfront trails winding through the Quad Cities. Rentals are available from April 1 through November 1.

 

Front Street Brewery
The nightlife begins again, but this time at Front Street Brewery, the first microbrewery to open in the Quad Cities. Front Street has a delicious selection of ales and beers including Bucktown Stout, Cherry Ale, Hefeweizen, Raging River Ale and Old Davenport Gold. Enjoy lunch or dinner outside at the Beer Garden.

 

Great River Brewery
Just around the corner, Great River Brewery serves up micro-brewed wonders from their indoor bar or outside on the patio. Don't be surprised if you see a few canine companions at this dog-friendly patio bar!
