“Songs We Love to Sing” with Amy Ellsworth

“Songs We Love to Sing” with Amy Ellsworth Singer and musician Amy Ellsworth will perform “Songs We Love to Sing” at 2 p.m. Sunday, July 10 on the Betty Strong Encounter Stage. Free admission; reception to follow. Ellsworth, from Brandon SD and former lead vocalist of Jukebox Zeros, has opened for many national acts like Foreigner, Joan Jett, Rick Springfield and Brett Michaels. Over the last few years, Ellsworth has played at Sioux City venues like Chesterfields, Rhonda’s Speak Easy, with Rockestra. The event is part of the “Fine Arts Series” sponsored by a Humanities Project Grants through the Iowa Arts Council/Iowa Department of Cultural Affairs. The Center comprises a private, non-profit cultural complex built and sustained by Missouri River Historical Development, Inc. (MRHD).
