2025 BRR - Perry's 48th Annual Bike Ride to Rippey

BRR! It is the name and usual sentiment for the beloved winter bike ride that has become an annual tradition for thousands of bike riders since 1978! Perry's 48th Annual Bike Ride to Rippey (BRR!) is Saturday, February 1, 2025. Check-in and Day-of Registration: 8 a.m.-1 p.m. at Hotel Pattee Group Start: 10 a.m. from the corner of Willis Avenue & 2nd Street The Original Winter Ride is held REGARDLESS OF WEATHER. This annual 24-mile round trip bike ride from Perry to Rippey and back makes for a fun winter activity for bike riders looking to extend their riding season. BRR riders have experienced frigid temperatures and wind chills while plowing through a foot of snow, but have also enjoyed spring like temperatures of 60 degrees! Either way, it's the tradition that rides on! Attendance continues to grow, with riders and guests attending from all over Iowa, and the country!
