Experience a German-inspired Christmas Market at December 1 - 4, 2022. Enjoy the sights, sounds, smells and flavors of the holidays as you participate in a 700 year old tradition. Shop regional vendors selling old-world, hand-crafted products from wooden vendor stalls; enjoy lively performances of polka music, traditional dance and choirs in Yuletide Hall; participate in children's activities; sip Glühwein (warm, mulled wine) and savor European-style Iowa craft beer. Iowa European Cultural Connection, a 501(c)3, tax-exempt non-profit, produces Christkindlmarket Des Moines. This event is free and open to the public. Dates and times are as follows: Thursday, December 1: 5 p.m. - 9 p.m. Friday, December 2: 11 a.m. – 9 p.m. Saturday, December 3: 11 a.m. – 9 p.m. Sunday, December 4: 11 a.m. – 5 p.m.
