Danbury Corn Days

It’s time for Danbury (Iowa) to celebrate that item Iowa is known for - CORN! We begin with a corn contest, pancake supper, quilt show, euchre, softball tournament, corn dig, mini golf, and painting party Friday evening, August 25th. Saturday, August 26th is the big day. We begin with caricatures and inflatables. We end with Mr. Tunes in the evening. Between that we have a lots of food, quilt show, corn dig, corn hole tournament, pedal tractor pull, kiddie cook off, at least 7 inflatables, cruise-in, home brew contest, petting zoo, cornstacle contest, Bingo, 3-on-3 basketball, older kiddie cook off, parade featuring Josie Cooper, and a not-so-much-variety show. Sunday we begin with Mass in the Grass at St. Mary’s Catholic Church. The events conclude with Danbury Catholic’s annual BBQ/Auction. Join us August 25th - 27th for a weekend packed with activity.
