Earth Day Festival

Join Winneshiek County Conservation and community partners for a free and fun morning of earth-friendly activities, vendors, snacks, and more! The 2024 Earth Day Festival will be held from 9:00 a.m.-12:00 p.m. on Saturday, April 26th in the Community Building AND Danan Lansing Building at the Winneshiek County Fairgrounds in Decorah, IA. Explore the latest in recycling, composting, renewable energy, native planting, wildlife habitat, conservation practices, and more! This free, open house event is for all ages. Enjoy hands-on activities, interactive displays, and educational exhibits provided by local conservation and sustainability organizations. Special events include: free snacks and coffee, educational presentations featuring local experts and live animals, free native tree seedlings & other giveaways, electric vehicle showings, and solar & HVAC contractors.
