Fort Atkinson Rendezvous Days

Step back in time at the Fort Atkinson Rendezvous Days, held annually during the last full weekend of September. The event recreates life on the 1840s Iowa frontier with authentic buckskinners, U.S. Army dragoons, black powder shoots, crafts, music, contests, and demonstrations. All ages are welcome. Free admission and parking. Sponsored by Friends of Fort Atkinson and the Iowa DNR. Held with permission of the Iowa State Preserves Advisory Board. Listed On The National Register of Historic Places.
