Great Tastes

The annual Southeastern Community College Foundation Great Tastes event is Friday, November 1, at Catfish Bend Convention & Event Center in Burlington. Check-in begins at 5:30 p.m.; the event begins at 6 p.m. Guests will sample a wide variety of beer, wine, and spirits from regional producers and distributors, and enjoy a delicious spread of foods and desserts. The evening features a large silent auction of unique items and gift baskets and an exciting live auction. This year’s items include gourmet dinner parties, fall and holiday decor, fun excursions, and unique trips and experiences—even a trip to Greece! Proceeds support SCC Foundation Board scholarships, instructional program mini-grants, and SCC initiatives. Individual tickets are $50 in advance or $60 at the door.
