Hoover's Hometown Days

Hoover's Hometown Days is an annual festival for residents and visitors that combines a variety of activities recognizing the unique heritage of West Branch, Iowa, hometown of Herbert Hoover, while supporting and celebrating our thriving small-town community. On August 10, 2024 we will celebrate Herbert Hoover's 150th birthday. A milestone that celebrates the legacy he has left as a great humanitarian and the inspiring reminder that a child born in small-town Iowa can grow up and make an incredible impact on the world and even serve as the President of the United States. This destination event will give attendees an experience that integrates recreation, education, heritage, and community.
