Julien Dubuque International Film Festival

The Julien Dubuque International Film Festival (JDIFF) has increased it's days from a 5-day event to a 7-days event, welcoming Galena, Il, as a venue partner and will bring to the area not only the finest in Independent features, documentaries and short films from around the world, but many of the filmmakers themselves. JDIFF acknowledges emerging filmmakers and is committed to bringing diverse, world class entertainment to the heart of the Midwest and has been doing so since 2012. For all days of the festival, you will enjoy film screenings in venues along Main Street Dubuque, including Phoenix Theatres, as well as nightly events for meeting people that have traveled from places such as France, Brazil, Spain, Nigeria, Macedonia, Canada, Germany, United Kingdom and from all over the US as well. JDIFF also hosts many panels, workshops and Q&A with filmmakers and professionals in the industry. You will have the opportunity to screen films before they hit the big market or streaming platforms. JDIFF has screened over 2000 World and US Premiere, Oscar winners and more. We have screened many of the top international films and welcomed top international filmmakers. JDIFF is for all ages, as we spotlight student films from high school to universities/colleges.
