Karen New Year Celebration

Celebrate the Karen New Year with the Ottumwa Karen Community on January 12 from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. at the Rural Health Center at Indian Hills Community College. This vibrant event will feature inspiring speakers, live performances, delicious food, and an opportunity to learn about the rich traditions and culture of the Karen people. It’s a wonderful chance to experience the joy and spirit of the Karen New Year while connecting with the community. All are welcome to enjoy this family-friendly celebration of culture and heritage!
