Mud & Music Event in Guttenberg with Live Ceramics, Music, and Community Celebration Guttenberg, IA – On June 7th, from 4–8 p.m., join local ceramicists for Mud & Music, an immersive celebration of art, live music, and community connection. This free, family-friendly event—made possible by an artist project grant from the Iowa Economic Development Authority—will take place at the corner of 1st and Schiller in Guttenberg, nestled between Guttenberg Brewing Co. and Divine Current Wellness. Mud & Music offers a one-of-a-kind opportunity to watch and engage with working ceramicists, hear incredible local music, and enjoy delicious food and drink in a beautiful outdoor setting. Attendees will experience: • Live ceramic demonstrations from artists including: • Sara Davis • Steve Solomon (Guttenberg Creativity Center) • Mike Knox • Kate Chandler • Rabecca Hennessy • Judy Carlson • Live music from The Spine Stealers and Big Blue Sky • Local food served by Driftwood Diner • Craft beer available from Guttenberg Brewing Co. • A handmade ceramic cup giveaway—the first 80 attendees will receive a cup crafted by one of the participating artists (one per person, while supplies last) “This event is more than just a gathering—it’s a celebration of our local creative spirit,” says Davis. “Thanks to the support from our sponsors, we’re able to offer this event to the community for free and showcase the incredible talents of both artists and musicians from across Iowa.”
