This intensive two-day workshop delves into the rich tradition of block printing as both an artistic practice and a medium for disseminating ideas. Focusing on the multi-block linocut technique, students will explore the historical significance of block printing, particularly its role in mass communication and artistic expression. Participants will engage in hands-on experimentation with carving and printing their designs while investigating the interplay of color, texture, and layering. Emphasis will be placed on pushing the boundaries of creative experimentation. By the end of the workshop, students will gain a deeper understanding of the technical challenges and artistic possibilities inherent in multi-block linocut printing, along with a portfolio of original prints. Pre-registration is required
