Nordic Fest 2025

Save the dates! Join us for the 58th annual Nordic Fest July 24-26, 2025 in Decorah, IA. Nordic Fest, held annually the last full weekend of July, is a celebration of Scandinavian heritage, culture, and food. Since 1967, Nordic Fest has offered fun and entertainment for the whole family. The festival takes place in Downtown Decorah, with three days of offerings including sporting events, 25+ entertainers, a full campus of demonstrators and exhibits at Vesterheim Norwegian-American Museum and Folk Art School, specialty foods, arts and crafts, a parade, fireworks, and other family activities. The festival is free to attend — with opportunities to purchase foods, craft and folk-art items, and other merchandise, and register for sporting event competitions. Events begin with Thursday night’s opening ceremonies at 6:45 p.m., followed by two full days of fun activities for the whole family. Plans are already underway for the biggest Fest yet!
