North Iowa STEM Festival

The goals of the STEM Festival are to promote, inspire and engage youth in Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics activities and to introduce children and parents to STEM careers. This night of fun, interactive, hands-on learning for kindergarten-6th grade students will be from 4-7 p.m. and hands-on STEM activities will include robotics, a portable planetarium, designing a 2D and 3D bedroom layout, encountering live animals and learning about environmental education, experiencing an augmented reality welding simulation, creating and launching straw rockets, learning about the science of germs and food safety, handling fiber optics and learning about fusion, identifying architectural elements and building with blocks and much more!
