Sleepy Hollow Renaissance Festival - Spring Fling

Van Wijk Winery is happy to help sponsor the 2024 Sleepy Hollow Renaissance Faire. We are a medium sized winery in Iowa that specializes in Mead. You can find us for tastings in the wine garden across from the Meadery. The Renaissance Faire at Sleepy Hollow in Des Moines, IA is a magical experience for both young and old and is Iowa only permanent fixture for 18 years. Since 2006 The Renaissance Faire at Sleepy Hollow has been entertaining people of all ages! From the English castle in the north to the Scottish castle in the south and all the taverns, wine garden, shops, and shows. When you enter our gates for the first time you will go back in time to an era when kings and queens ruled, knights jousted, and the arts came alive! With so much to see and do we wanted to give any newcomers to Renaissance Faires or Sleepy Hollow’s Castle Park a guide on what they can expect at Iowa’s only permanent Faire site. Spring Fling is held over two weekends May 11-12 and May 18-19 and filled with celebrations of spring and the return to the fun and frivolity of being outdoors.
