Argyle

Founded in 1885, Argyle is one of only a handful of unincorporated communities in the state of Iowa with an active post office. While less than 100 people call it home, it's still a great place to stop while exploring Iowa's backroads. Visit Horse n' Around Farm to enjoy a round of yard games and and getting up close and personal with the farm's ponies, horses and mini donkeys. Then, grab a casual lunch or dinner at the East-West Hideout Bar.
