Edgewood

Visitors to Edgewood enjoy the many downtown shops from crafts to delicious lunches and dinners at the Café Rose. Enjoy award winning fresh meats at the Edgewood Meat Locker, awarded Grand Champion Ham and Grand Champion Dried Beef at the Iowa State Fair in 2018.

Edgewood is also home to Kendrick Forest Products, the largest working sawmill in Iowa. Public educational tours are available to the public upon request Friday through Sunday.

Visitors also enjoy the Bixby State Preserve, a 184-acre preserve including Ice Cave, one of Iowa’s rarest ecosystems. Travelers also enjoy trout fishing the four coldwater streams that meander through the park and picnicking in the shelter areas.
