This quiet community comes alive each June by hosting one of the largest annual car shows in the area called the Kamrar Free Car Show. While you're in town, stop for lunch or dinner at Pickles Pub then shop for antiques at Tempel’s Timeless Treasures just a block and a half away. Explore the Kamrar Wildlife Management Area, a 127-acre space which features restored prairie, food plots and two re-constructed wetlands. Pheasant and waterfowl are abundant and it is ideal for hiking and bird watching. It is open for public hunting using only lead-free shot.
