Must Do’s
Pacific Junction’s proximity to outdoor recreation makes it a great place to take advantage of the many activites and attractions nearby. The I-29 Speedway offers exciting events during the April-October seasons, and the I-29 Dragway is open to the public on  Friday and Saturday nights.

Outdoor Adventures
Pony Creek Park is the largest park managed by Mills County Conservation. Be sure to visit the Pony Creek Nature Center - open to visitors year-round. The 53-acre Pony Creek Park has cabin rentals and campgrounds, and its many outdoor activities include fishing, hiking trails and bird watching. 

Mile Hill Lake is a 39-acre hardwood forest for public hunting, and a 10-acre lake features a boat dock and ramp. Check out the scenic overlook and its interpretive panels sharing info about the region's history and the Loess Hills Scenic Byway.
