Home to the Louisa County Heritage Center and located on the banks of the Iowa River with opportunities to view bald eagles and a vast array of wildlife. Located nearby are the Toolesboro Indian Mounds, one of the largest Indian mounds in the state. Also nearby are Lake Odessa, the Mississippi River, the Mark Twain Refuge, and acres of wetland area for boating, hunting and fishing.
