This growing community has much to offer visitors of all ages. The Vibrant Music Hall, which opened in late 2023, offers live music and entertainment in its state of the art faciliity. Or head to The Palms Theatres & IMAX for a movie in style. The theatre has 15 auditoriums, with the 90-foot IMAX screen and also includes Rick's Café Americain.

The Coal Mine Museum at the Waukee Public Library honors those who worked andlivd at the Shuler Coal Mine, an important part of Waukee's history.

Outdoor Adventures
The popular Raccoon River Valley 71-mile loop from Waukee's Trailhead includes neighboring towns Dallas Center, Minburn, Perry, Dawson and Jamaica, or take your ride even further up to Jefferson.

For some free family fun, the Fox Creek Splash Pad is sure to delight, or visit Alice Nizzi Park, which features a spaghetti and meatballs-themed playground!

Community Highlights
Events are held year-round at the Historic Waukee Triangle, and Waukee's Winterfest includes the Christmas tree lighting at Triangle Park and numerous activities to kick off the holidays. Come summertime, the 4th of July Celebration in Waukee is a can't miss event!
