Bayliss Park and Veterans Plaza

This downtown green space is a hub for family activity. The park includes a fountain, performance space, an interactive water feature with child-activated sprays and other child-friendly, touchable art. The park is home to seasonal events like Farmers Market Council Bluffs and community holiday celebration Winterfest. The Veterans Plaza, dedicated on July 4, 2003, was sculpted by famed artist John Lajba. The wall lists those who died or are missing in action from the Civil War through the War on Terror.
