Motor Mill Historic Site

View the six-story limestone mill and four other limestone buildings. Hike the rugged trails in nearby hills. There are five primitive campsites and a Turkey River canoe access at the park as well. The Mill is open for guided tours Saturdays, Memorial Day to Labor Day, 12 to 5 p.m. Check the website for tour schedule. The Motor Mill Inn Renovation is complete, and the building is now available for reservations! The upper two floors of the structure offer lodging for 12 people, a private kitchen, dining area, and bathroom. The first floor of the building is open to the public and serves as a visitor center, giftshop, public restroom, and office for the Motor Mill Foundation. The Inn is very unique place to stay and is a great opportunity for those wanting a family getaway, small group retreats, and a historic place to stay for those traveling through the Driftless Area.
