Oldest operating winery in the state of Iowa, opened in 1956. Recognized nationally and internationally for exotic fruit wines like dandelion, rhubarb, mango and red raspberry.
Wine tastings offered daily. Guests are also encouraged to view our History of Winemaking in the Amanas exhibit along with winemaking equipment on display and a video explaining Ackerman's history of winemaking.
