Crapo Park, the site where Lt. Zebulon Pike first planted the American flag on what would become Iowa soil, features shelter houses, horseshoe pits, historic Curly-Q slide, walking trails, public art, bandshell, the Hawkeye Log Cabin and beautiful gardens. A comprehensive listing of trees in this nationally-known arboretum is available at the park office in Dankwardt Park or online.
