Former sand and gravel pits include 435 acres of sand dunes, brushy, grassy areas, with over 120 acres of water in numerous lakes and ponds. Boat ramps on Lake Chester and Lake Jewell. Handicap-accessible fishing dock and beach at Lake Chester. Hard-surfaced hiking/biking trail. Year-round cabin rental.
Beach hours are 6 a.m. to 9 p.m. daily from Memorial Day through Labor Day.
