Located in Jones County, Iowa. Edinburgh Manor is full of rich history and unexplained things. We offer Overnight Visits as well as Day Tours. All visits are via reservation only. Edinburgh Manor was constructed from 1910-1911 to house the incurably insane, the poor and the elderly. Edinburgh Manor, also referred to as The Manor, was in operation until November 2010. Some documents and personal belongings can still be found in The Manor. When the last patients and employees left the building in 2010, they never returned. There is so much history and mystery to Edinburgh Manor.
