Fayette County Freedom Rock

Part of Bubba Sorensen's 99-County Freedom Rock Tour, the Fayette Co. Freedom Rock features the Upper Iowa University Alexander/Dickman Building, military flag bearer Henry Grannis, Dr. Charles Coleman (C. C.) Parker, Civil War surgeon at the Battle of Shiloh and expert witness for Abraham Lincoln at the Almanac trial, Civil War veteran and 1st speaker of the U.S. House of Representatives from west of the Mississippi River David B. Henderson, and 13th Iowa Governor William Larrabee.
