The mission of the Floyd County Museum is to keep alive an active interest in Floyd County history by collecting, preserving, and interpreting artifacts related to Floyd County. We are a local history museum with a special focus on the history of the Hart-Parr, Oliver, and White tractor companies located in the building that was the original site of Salsbury Laboratory. Also featured at the museum is an original 20th century drugstore, 1850s log cabin, and much more.
