Glacial Trail Scenic Byway - Linn Grove

Discover Iowa’s agricultural roots, Native American history and glacier-carved landscape. Linn Grove is an important archeological site associated with the Great Oasis culture, a transitional culture between the Woodland Period and the Late Prehistoric Period. Today, Linn Grove features a low-head dam on the Little Sioux River, which has created a well known fishing hole. Electric and primitive campsites are located close to the river for great access and a bait shop that is open seasonally is located nearby. The 12- acre park has land on both sides of the river and features a playground and access to the river for canoers and kayakers.
