Fountain Square Park was adopted in 1857. Red Oak is unique in that its downtown does not surround the Courthouse, but rather Fountain Square Park. The park pays tribute to those that have served in our armed forces. This park is home to a wide array of tastefully arranged memorials, benches, picnic areas, playground equipment and much more.
