Historical Plaque Walking Tour

Enjoy a leisurely self-guided walking tour of 17 historical plaques found on all four sides of the National Historic Jefferson downtown square. Click on the QR codes on each plaque to learn a little fun fact and see a picture of the person or place featured on the plaques. Find out who made Jefferson and Greene County such a unique place. Walking tour maps are available in the lobby of the Mahanay Carillon Tower or the Welcome Center.
