Howell's Greenhouse & Pumpkin Patch

A short drive from Des Moines or Winterset brings you right here to Howell's. Visitors return again and again to visit the upstairs of our 1910 barn to see the flowers hanging in 25 foot cascades from the rafters and to enjoy our scenic surroundings. Downstairs in the gift shop, you will be fascinated with the huge selection. Fall is a magical time of the year at Howell's Pumpkin Patch. There is no fee to shop for pumpkins or the gift store, but there is a per person admission for the wagon ride, including your visit to the Pumpkin Patch and the Corn Maze, and the Kiddie Korral playground with pedal tractors, wiggle cars, hay stacks to climb on, a mud pie kitchen, the corn box, a giant slide, and many other activities. In the spring and summer, Howell's also offers goat yoga, cuddling and bottle feeding.
