Iowa Arboretum & Gardens

The Iowa Arboretum & Gardens is a public community garden and is home to over 6,000 accessioned plants including trees, shrubs, and flowers. Walk beautifully landscaped paths along with woodland and prairie trails. The large conference room is available for hosting wedding receptions, meetings, parties and other life events. Three garden areas provide the perfect setting for outdoor weddings. Special events and plant sales are held throughout the year. Guided tours by appointment. NEW FOR SUMMER 2024: Treehouse Village - Play... Elevated! The gardens and grounds are open year 'round - Daily from April through October; Weekdays from November through March (closed on winter weekends). Fun for the whole family - memberships available!
