More than 142 tile plaques are integrated into the Sheridan Avenue Streetscape and side streets, honoring Iowans, born in or lived here, who made an impact on our state, nation and world. Visit Shenandoah and stop by the Shenandoah Chamber office at 619 W. Sheridan Ave. for a booklet of the Iowa Walk of Fame bios. Newest inductees include Max F. Schneider, led the Rangers on D-Day WWII; Harry Stine, pioneer in corn & soybean genetics; Robert D. Ray, Iowa Governor who facilitated refugee settlement ; Christian K.
