Lizard Creek Mountain Bike Trails

These 10+ miles of single-track mountain bike trails along the Des Moines River Valley are in the Northwest River District of Fort Dodge. The trails are accessible near Water Trail Access 1 on Lizard Creek and are split into 3 different sections to fit a variety of rider skill levels. Beginners and young riders love Lower Lizard, while more skilled riders tend to be found on Upper Lizard or the newer Phinney Loop.
