Martin's Access

Martin's Area consists of 300 acres of beautiful river valley habitat in northeastern Cherokee County. Take a hike on one of many maintained, winding trails or kick back and relax at one of our campsites or cabins! Martin's also has an access point to the Little Sioux River, which hosts the Inkpaduta Canoe Trail. Hunters will find deer, small game, pheasants, and turkeys throughout the park's diverse ecosystem! Martin's Area includes: *4 Reservable Cabins *Over 5 miles of Hiking/Horse Trails through Oak Savanna, Forest, and Prairie ecosystems *16 full service campsites (8 reservable) with cement patio, fire ring, picnic table, and shower/restroom facilities on site *40 primitive campsites with vault toilets and water pumps *Reservable Partially Enclosed Shelter *Playground equipment *Canoe trail/ramp *Open Shelters *Fishing/Hunting **Horse trails are open June 1-October 1 **Campground is open May 1-October 31 (Weather pending) **Cabins are open year round **Hunting is allowed September 15-May 21 **No ATV, UTV, etc. allowed in the parks**
