Mini Grotto of Harris, Iowa
The Mini Grotto located in Harris was built behind the old post office. The individual who built it was named Bud Allen and he was the former Postmaster, who also ran a cafe in Harris at the time.
The structures which comprise the Mini Grotto are a church replica, wishing well, castle and a stone wall containing the 23rd Psalm. Rocks at the Mini Grotto reportedly came from 40 states and countries such as Mexico and Canada.
When visiting, be sure to head a few blocks to see the refurbished Marshall's building!
