Redtail Ridge
Redtail Ridge is 217 acres of undeveloped land and is a prime hunting ground. The northern portion of the area contains small, shallow wetlands and grasslands that provide excellent pheasant hunting. The remainder of the area is floodplain timber, prairie, and savanna. Fishing opportunities include nearly one mile of Little Sioux River access. Local residents call it a "fish trap" or weir built of stone in this portion of the river, where Indigenous tribes and early settlers did their fishing. River access onto the Little Sioux River was updated in 2023, which hosts the Inkpaduta River Trail. In the winter, Redtail Ridge is a popular Cross Country Skiing area.
**Hunting and fishing allowed**
**ATV's, UTV's, etc. are not permitted in the park
