Richard L. Proenneke Museum

Visit Richard Proenneke's cabin at the Museum where his famous cabin has been replicated, including furniture. Many artifacts on exhibit including his journals, books and various items for sale. Richard Proenneke, Lee County, Iowa native, born in 1916 became an icon in Alaska by building a cabin with only hand tools, is credited with helping establish the Lake Clark National Park.
