River Road Conservation Area

River Road Conservation Area is 60 acre area that provides trails and ponds for kayaking and fishing, cross-country skiing, and hunting. This area is an old gravel pit with mostly grasslands and some timbered areas on the riverside. It has 1.5 miles of trails and connects to Pearse Access. On this property, you will find Uncle Tom's Cabin, a river-side cabin. The cabin and land were donated by Karen and Tom Nelson, who was nicknamed Uncle Tom by many. Near the park is the Licklider Shooting Complex, which includes a rifle/pistol range with 25,50, and 100-yard distances. **Hunting and fishing permitted** **No ATV's, UTV's, etc. allowed in the park**
