Sheldon Prairie Museum
A walk through the Sheldon Prairie Museum In 1908, a Carnegie Library was constructed in Sheldon, IA. This was the city library until 1969. In 1975 The Sheldon Historical Society asked the Sheldon City Council to designate the old library building a city museum. Then, in 1976, The Sheldon Historical Society moved into the Carnegie building and established the Sheldon Prairie Museum.
