The Clausen House

The Clausen House was built in 1890 and is a majestic place to stay. It has been updated with renovated bathrooms, kitchen & laundry room. It has ten foot ceilings on the main floor with beautiful original finished woodwork. The house has been in the Clausen family since it was built. We purchased the home to have guests enjoy it. It is great location for families to get together and have lots of room to relax and enjoy themselves. Guests with mobility challenges can sleep on the main floor. This location is right downtown beside the public library and just four blocks from the Lake. It is nestled in a quiet neighborhood with off street parking. You can enjoy all the activities that Clear Lake has to offer and then return to the house to relax. It's on wooded lot with lots of mature trees that provide shade for most of the property.
