The Community Farmers Market of Pleasant Hill

The Community Farmers Market of Pleasant Hill is a central Iowa open air growers market that is open every Monday from June through the end of August, currently the only Des Moines Metro area Monday Market. Pleasant Hill is a young town, incorporated 1961 on the east side of Des Moines. It is committed to community and it shows every Monday in the summer as an open parking lot turns into a community destination. "Iowa Nice" comes alive as 40+ local vendors offer a wide range of homegrown and homemade products from local farmers, bakers, and artisans. This is a family market with kid's activities, free train rides, a great playground, and covered picnic area to enjoy some food from some of the best food trucks in the area. We are located in the Berean Church parking lot at 5299 E University in Pleasant Hill, IA just 2 ½ mile east of the Iowa State Fairgrounds on University Ave, across from McDonalds.
